Terms of Service
Welcome to Cyber Signs. By accessing lacybersigns.com, requesting a quote, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Our Services
Cyber Signs provides custom sign design, fabrication, and installation services, including but not limited to channel letters, monument signs, interior and lobby signs, box signs, neon signs, ADA signs, directory signs, acrylic signs, parametric signs, and window graphics.
2. Quotes & Estimates
All pricing, estimates, and quotes are preliminary and for informational purposes only. All final pricing is subject to a formal written agreement. Final costs may vary based on materials, design complexity, site conditions, and permitting requirements. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3. Customer Approval & Proofs
The client is solely responsible for reviewing and approving all designs, layouts, spelling, fonts, colors, dimensions, and proofs before production begins. Once a proof is approved (verbally, in writing, or electronically), Cyber Signs is not responsible for any errors, including typographical errors, incorrect dimensions, or color choices.
4. All Sales Final & No Returns
Because our products are custom-made to your specifications, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, cancellations after production has commenced, or refunds on completed or in-progress signage. Deposits are non-refundable once design or production work has begun.
5. Color Matching
We strive to match colors accurately; however, due to variations in materials, production batches, lighting conditions, and screen calibrations, we cannot guarantee exact color matching for reorders placed at different times. We strongly recommend ordering all pieces together in a single production run.
6. Project Timelines
All project timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Production may be affected by material availability, weather, supplier delays, site access, and local permitting. Cyber Signs is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from project delays.
7. Permits & Code Compliance
Compliance with local building codes, zoning ordinances, and signage regulations is mandatory.
- Permit Services: Upon request and for an additional service fee, Cyber Signs can manage the permit acquisition process on behalf of the client. This includes preparing drawings, filing applications, and coordinating with local authorities. Such services will be defined in a separate agreement.
- Client Responsibility: If the client chooses to handle permits independently, they are solely responsible for all research, applications, and approvals.
- Legal Authority: The client warrants that they have the legal right and authority (including necessary landlord/property-owner/HOA approvals) to install the requested signage. Cyber Signs is not responsible for any disputes with third-party property owners.
- No Warranty of Compliance: Cyber Signs does not provide legal or zoning advice. Even if we manage the permit process, we are not liable for fines, penalties, stop-work orders, or forced removals resulting from municipal decisions or changes in local regulations.
- Work Stoppage: Cyber Signs reserves the right to halt production or installation if the project appears to be in violation of local codes or lacks necessary permits. The client remains responsible for all costs incurred up to that point.
8. Existing Conditions & Hidden Defects
The client acknowledges that existing signage, mounting surfaces, or electrical systems may have hidden defects or structural weaknesses not visible during initial inspection.
- Assumption of Risk: Cyber Signs is not responsible for the performance or functionality of existing components we are hired to service or relocate.
- Discovery of Issues: Should we discover unknown issues (e.g., rusted internals, outdated wiring) during work, we will notify the client immediately. Additional labor or materials required to fix these issues will be billed as an extra cost.
- Limited Liability: Cyber Signs is not liable for failure, malfunction, or damage occurring to existing systems during or after our intervention. The client agrees to hold Cyber Signs harmless for any failure of existing systems that may manifest after we commence work.
9. California Proposition 65 Warning
Our products may contain chemicals, including lead or other substances, known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

11. Warranty
- Electrical Signs: Carry a one (1) year warranty on parts only. This excludes labor, installation, removal, normal wear and tear, weather damage, power surges, vandalism, or damage from improper use or third-party tampering.
- Non-Electrical Signs: Sold "as-is" with no warranty unless specified in writing.
- Transferability: Warranties are non-transferable.
